Welcome to 1st Grade!
Hello Everyone. My name is Ms. Shanon Green and I am so excited to be teaching First Grade here at Chandler Elementary School for the new 2022-2023 school year. This will be my 27th year of teaching. I am starting my 6th year at CES. I want to instill a love for learning in every student that walks into my classroom and have fun at the same time. I believe teacher-parent communication is very important for student success. New School Time for the 2022-2023 school year is 7:40-3:26. The first bell will ring at 7:40 a.m.!
My conference time is 9:45-10:35 a.m.
My Life in a Nutshell
*I graduated from U.T.Tyler with my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
*I am ESL and G/T certified
*I have 4 dogs: Lucy, Nutzo, Cocoa and Sandy.
*I have 2 nephews that I love dearly.
*I enjoy working in my yard, especially my flower beds, shopping, and good music.
*I love spending time with my whole family and dear friends.
*I love church, bowling, going to the movies, candles, hanging baskets, potted plants, and hanging out with my friends.
* I love sweet tea, strawberry lemonade, pumpkin spice and mocha scented candles, going to the movies, bowling and listening to all genres of music, especially classic 80's rock!
*My personal mission and statement is to Live...Laugh....Love.
